About Our Community
Northstar Ranch is located on the west bench of Grantsville at the base of the Stansbury Mountain range with stunning views of the Oquirrh and Wasatch mountains. The community was settled in 1850 and has grown slowly and steadily throughout the years, but with the recent rapid growth of Salt Lake City it is quickly becoming a bedroom community of Salt Lake Valley. Boasting of 1,200 acres, Northstar Ranch has the potential of being the largest master planned community in Tooele County. The precipitous growth has contributed to the construction of the nearby Deseret Peak recreation center, the Utah Motorsports Park raceway and several newly built distribution centers with more growth on the horizon.
